Before you start
It is mandatory to register you pool or spa with Council in Victoria. This requirement makes sure that all pools and spas meet safety standards and compliance.
You must register any pool or spa that can hold more than 30 cm of water. This includes:
- Permanent pools
- Above-ground pools
- Indoor pools
- Hot tubs
- Bathing or wading pools
- Relocatable pools, including inflatables
